Well known to you all as a holiday destination , Majorca over the past few years has become very popular to the Irish Golfer. The courses are uncluttered, and are within easy access from most hotels/apartments. Majorca itself offers a wide choice of resorts from those full of night-life to those more family orientated and the option of Hotels or Self catering apartments.
The golf in Majorca has grown in prominence over the past few years. There are now 11 courses, six of which are found in the South West of the Island near the popular resort of Santa Ponsa. Nine of the courses are full 18 holes, and Majorca has hosted the Spanish Pro Championship and Balearic Island Trophy amongst the many championships.
